The goji berry
- a true Kraft of nutrients and active ingredients -
Legends and ancient Chinese medicine records about wolfberry date back 5,000 years. Ben Zao Gen Mo, a doctor's manual written in the Ming Dynasty (1468 - 1664 BC), documents the use of Chinese wolfberry at that time.
Young Living founder D. Gary Young traveled the world looking for natural solutions to life's challenges.
More than 20 years ago he traveled to the remote mountains of China.
There he met Dr. Songqiao Chao, who introduced him to the bright red wolfberry.
Local people knew how delicious the berry was and how many benefits it offered, so Young quickly realized how wolfberry affected those who took it. He learned that Chinese biochemists at the Ningxia Institute of Nutrition had analyzed wolfberries and found them to be one of the most nutrient-dense foods on our planet.
Gary Young was excited and wanted this incredible one
Bringing fruit to the rest of the world.
Today, China is considered the country of origin of the wolfberry and the fruits are now known and loved for it
unparalleled nutrient profile.
